Four businesses ordered closed after warrants served in North Fulton County

Four massage businesses in Sandy Springs were shut down this week after investigators executed search warrants as part of an inquiry into suspected prostitution and potential human trafficking activity, authorities said.

The enforcement action unfolded on Thursday, Feb. 19, 2026, when detectives searched two locations: Pileo Therapy on Cliftwood Drive and Pearl Massage on Roswell Road. Closure notices were also posted for two additional Roswell Road businesses, Jade Spa and Massage Springs, police said.

Arrests and initial charges

Three women were arrested during the operation. Police said the cases are being filed under municipal ordinances at this stage, with the possibility of additional or upgraded charges if evidence supports further action as the investigation continues.

  • Three women were charged with solicitation for an illicit sexual act, police said.
  • Two of the women also face an ordinance charge commonly described as keeping a “house of ill fame,” a local prohibition on operating a brothel, authorities said.

Police have not publicly released the names of the women who were arrested.

Federal partners and victim-support presence

Authorities said federal law-enforcement partners participated in the operation, including Homeland Security Investigations, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and the FBI. Police also said victim advocates were present on scene in the event potential trafficking victims were identified during the searches.

Investigators said they did not immediately identify trafficking victims during the operation, and police noted that none of the women contacted in the immediate aftermath reported being trafficked.

Business owner dispute and investigative steps

A woman who identified herself as the owner of Pearl Massage disputed the allegations in an interview after the police action, saying the business offered massage services only. Police indicated the investigation included surveillance and collection of vehicle tag information, and that notices would be sent to registered vehicle owners in connection with the inquiry.

Police said the investigation remains active and additional arrests or felony-level charges could follow if warranted by evidence.

Broader metro Atlanta enforcement context

The Sandy Springs action comes amid ongoing regional scrutiny of massage businesses suspected of serving as fronts for commercial sex or trafficking. In recent years, multiple metro Atlanta jurisdictions have reported investigations, closures, and licensing reviews tied to alleged illicit activity at some establishments operating as spas or massage parlors.
